If you have already checked the keyboard settings and things still are not working correctly, reinstalling the keyboard connection can help.
To re-add the keyboard:
- On the parent phone, open the BrightCanary app
- Go to More > Settings > Manage Family
- Tap your child’s name
- Select Keyboard Devices
- On your child’s phone, delete the BrightCanary app
- Reinstall the BrightCanary app on your child’s phone
- Open the app on your child’s phone and tap This is a child’s device
- Back on the parent phone, tap Add Keyboard
