I’m still having issues with text message monitoring.

Only try this if previous steps have not resolved the issue.

Reconnecting refreshes the Apple session and re-registers the connection.

First, disconnect:

  1. Open the BrightCanary app
  2. Tap the three dots next to your child’s name
  3. Tap Manage Child
  4. Tap Disconnect next to Text

Then, reconnect:

  1. From the main screen, tap Connect Texts
  2. Log in using your child’s Apple ID
  3. Complete two-factor authentication

You will need physical access to your child’s device to complete login.
